New male/male erotica—Convenient Strangers
My latest erotic novella from Ellora's Cave is out! Convenient Strangers is the simple, sexy story of two men on the rebound, both in search of a one-night stand to cleanse their post-breakup palates…though they may find their simple plan gets complicated when a deeper attraction sparks. You can buy it direct here, or for more information, check out my Books page, or read an excerpt.
Headstrong is out now!
Samhain has released one of my all-time favorite books, under my Meg Maguire name. Headstrong is a full-length contemporary romance set in my favorite city—Wellington, New Zealand. It's about a quirky love triangle between an American woman and two brothers, the action flitting between a second-rate pub, a house boat, a taekwondo studio, a bike courier dispatch, and a karaoke bar. Make of that what you will. You can learn more on my Books page, or on the Samhain website.
Curio and Willing Victim now available together in paperback
Ellora's Cave has just released two of my most popular short erotic novels, Curio and Willing Victim, together as a paperback. Lessons in Letting Go is available direct from EC, or through the major online bookstores.
I can has award nomination!
Hey, this is cool—my evil conjoined romance-writing twin Meg Maguire's been nominated for a Reviewers' Choice Award from Romantic Times, for the best series romance debut of 2011, for our first Blaze, Caught on Camera. Thanks, RT!
What's next?
For anyone curious what pre-contracted stories I'm working on at the moment…
On the romance front, I'm hard at work revising a Blaze proposal tentatively titled Meet Your Match, about a woman who inherits her estranged father's shady boxing gym, and butts heads with its manager when she announces her plans to close the business to open a matchmaking franchise. Its sequel is already in the early planning stages.
I've also just finished a very long, very weird, not-quite-romance called Badger, which I'm planning to shop around to unsuspecting agents this year.
I'm collaborating with friends on two separate anthology projects this spring. One will feature romantic novellas, each based on the conecpt of "strangers on a train". The other will feature linked erotic novellas centered around friends who run a sex shop. Fun fun. And my gears are also turning over a new stand-alone erotica story about a married couple with a cuckolding kink.
